Tatsuji Toyozumi
Born in Osaka, Japan, in 1965. Born in Prefecture. Raised in Tokushima and Kochi Prefecture from an early age and graduated from Tosa HighSchool.
He graduated from Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music in 1988, and completed the graduate course at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music in 1990. He studied composition with Kan Ishii, Bin Knaneda,Keiki Okasaka.He is actively focused on the compositions of wide range of music styles — concerto, opera, chamber music, vocal piece, etc. Now, he is currently an Associate Professor at Showa University of Music and a part-time lecturer at Tokyo Polytechnics University.

It was awarded the First prize in the Concorso Internazionale di Composizione “2 Agosto” Decima edizione, Bologna 2004(Italia)
